There are two letting rooms and a guest lounge, which has a colour television and a good library of books containing local information or a good read for your stay. There is a guest entrance for which you have your own key, with unrestricted access.
We have recently upgraded our rooms so that there is now a double en-suite and a twin/triple en-suite. Both rooms have comfortable beds, and tea and coffee making facilities.
The double room looks out across the old railway station to the marsh and Thorley Copse beyond.
From the twin/triple room, you can look right up the River Yar towards
Tennyson Down. In the summer the river is often a colourful sight with
the sails of the local dinghy fleet. The winter and spring bring a multitude
of duck, geese and wading birds, which enjoy our mild climate and marshy
areas.
